Report Your BNI BUCKS Using QuickBooks

Are you struggling to remember what BNI Bucks to report?
This method will work if you create Sales Receipts or
Invoices in QuickBooks. With a push of a button, you can get
a report of your company BNI Bucks, by name of BNI Member
that referred you. Cut out the report information and tape
it to the back of the green BNI Buck form.
SET-UP
• Make sure your Invoice or Sales Receipt shows the “Rep”
box. If not, customize the template and turn it on!
• When you set-up a New Customer, you will need to assign in
the “Additional Information” tab the “Rep”. In the “Sales
Rep Name” field, type BNI – Company Name that referred you.
• Example: BNI –White Lotus. (Each BNI Member that refers
you will be a rep)
• Now every time you bring up your sales form for that
Customer, that rep will appear on that sale.
REPORT
• Go to “Reports” , “Sales”, “Sales by Rep Summary”
• Next we are going to modify and memorize this report so
next time at a push of a button it will come up easily.
• Select the “Modify Report” tab, check the box that says
“Cash”. Next, select the “Header/Footer” tab, in the
“Report Title”, type “BNI Bucks by Referral”
• To save for next time, select the “Memorize” tab and where
you are saving it, than OK.
• Now every week or month, however you like to report your
BNI Bucks you can bring up the memorized report , change the
date range, print and attach to your green BNI Buck form!
Because we selected “Cash”, these are the sales you have
been paid on during that date range, by each BNI Member that
referred you. It’s just that easy!! If you use Reps for
other sources of sales besides BNI, a report can be filter
to show only BNI.
